Q: Where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Today, I call Middle Tennessee home.
Q: Tell us about your educational background and training.
I began my career on the clinical side of healthcare, working in pathology and histology. Over time, I developed a strong interest in the business side of healthcare and went on to earn my BS in Business Administration from Elmhurst College, followed by an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School.
Q: What are your favorites?
Food: Sushi — and you can never go wrong with a great steak.
Movie: I have a soft spot for classics like The Godfather, Forrest Gump, Back to the Future, Die Hard, and Dances with Wolves.
Musicians: I enjoy many genres of music but my favorite bands are: The Eagles, America and James Taylor.
Destination: Any of the Hawaiian Islands.
Q: What do you like to do outside of work?
I love being outdoors hiking and camping. I also love to travel, especially with my daughters and friends.
Q: What kind of work does your company do in 340B and what makes it stand out?
Proximity is a 340B revenue operations platform that gives covered entities a single source of truth across their entire program. We unify data from all TPAs, pharmacies, wholesalers, EHRs, and payers into one centralized environment—so organizations can see, manage, and defend every claim and every dollar.
What sets Proximity apart is our deep understanding of 340B and pharmacy data at a granular level—how pricing, TPA logic, accumulators, and manufacturer requirements intersect, and where they break. In a landscape defined by fragmentation and policy uncertainty, we bring visibility, control, and defensibility back to the covered entity.
Q: Why did you choose to work in the 340B space?
The 340B space chose me. In a prior role, I worked for a large TPA and got a firsthand look at how critical 340B revenue is to healthcare organizations. It’s what allows many covered entities to keep clinics open, expand pharmacy services, and care for patients who might otherwise fall through the cracks.
The more I understood the impact, the more it became clear that when 340B works well, communities benefit. And when it doesn’t, access to care suffers.
That’s what drew me to Proximity. The team isn’t just talking about protecting 340B — they’re building the infrastructure to help covered entities actually defend, optimize, and sustain it in this rapidly changing environment.
Q: What do you feel is your most significant contribution to the 340B world or to a 340B customer/client?
Throughout my career in 340B, I’ve helped covered entities uncover new savings opportunities within their programs — often in places they didn’t realize revenue was being missed. There’s nothing more impactful than showing an organization they can reinvest more back into patient care.
What attracted me to Proximity is that it takes that impact to another level. I’ve seen how different players in the space have tried to solve pieces of the problem but Proximity is introducing a new category altogether serving as a revenue operations platform that connects and normalizes all 340B data to create full program insight and governance.
By pairing advanced technology with deep 340B subject matter expertise, Proximity addresses the system-level challenges I’ve seen for years — fragmentation, silent errors, hidden costs, and limited visibility — in an entirely new way. It’s solving complexity through data, and that’s where I believe the future of 340B management is headed.
Q: What advice do you have for a young professional who has recently launched a career in the 340B space?
Don’t be afraid of change. The 340B program is constantly evolving, and the professionals who succeed are the ones who stay adaptable, keep learning, and aren’t afraid to rethink old processes.
Stay informed, ask questions, and get curious about how the data and dollars actually move through a program — the details matter.
And always remember the why: 340B supports real patients and communities. Keeping that mission in mind makes the complexity worth it.
