She also led POLITICO New York’s healthcare coverage in Albany, including former Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath, and covered congressional and presidential campaigns for the Springfield Republican newspaper and MassLive.com. Shannon has more than a decade of experience reporting on federal and state government in Washington, D.C., Connecticut, Ohio, Massachusetts and New York for regional and national publications.
