Q: Tell us about your educational background and training.
I started my career in pharmacy working with Oklahoma Medicaid as a pharmacy analyst. My career grew from there when I transitioned to working as a consultant for multiple Medicaid pharmacy programs and then transitioned into 340B working as a 340B manager for a covered entity and now I help many covered entities run their 340B program.

Q: What do you like to do outside of work?
If I am not working, you will probably find me running a marathon, half marathon or some kind of trail race! I also may be crafting something up on my Cricut.
Q: What kind of work does your company do in 340B and what makes it stand out?
SunRx is a third-party administrator that leans into customer service. SunRx stands out as we create long-term partnerships with our customers and stand beside them to find timely solutions in an ever-evolving 340B landscape.
Q: Why did you choose to work in the 340B space?
My passion is to help people and create better outcomes. Before my career with Medicaid, I worked in child welfare and interacted with the very individuals that need 340B to stay alive. After I had transitioned to working with a covered entity, a mother had reached out to me needing help with medications as she was 39 weeks pregnant and diabetic. I was able to educate her that she can get help with the prescriptions by going to an on-campus pharmacy. She messaged me back the next day letting me know she was able to get all of her diabetic medications completely covered by using an on-campus pharmacy with my 340B covered entity. Stories like this drive me to continue to help covered entities create long-term sustainable 340B programs that continue to help those that need it most.
Q: What do you feel is your most significant contribution to the 340B world or to a 340B customer/client?
Anytime programs are sustained, extra program benefits are created, or patients get access to medications or care, is considered a significant contribution to me. The little moments everyday are the most significant, because showing up and being my best means covered entities across America get to stay open and serve patients.
Q: What advice do you have for a young professional who has recently launched a career in the 340B space?
There are so many opportunities for networking, engaging and learning through various podcasts, articles, and message boards. Make sure you dig in, stay engaged and stay connected. These platforms have so much knowledge to share and it will take you a long way in your career.
