340B INDUSTRY LEADER SPOTLIGHT

Tina Carrasco, VP of Customer Partnership, The Craneware Group

Tina Carrasco

Q: Where did you grow up?

My father was in the military and our family ended up in Northern California, which was the majority of where I grew up.

Q: Where did you go to college?

University of Phoenix. I believe that education is also about time spent in the industry, of which I’ve had 30 plus years’ experience.

Q: What are your favorites?

Food: Mexican and Sushi

Movie: Nemo, Shashank Redemption, Eat Pray Love, Stand by Me and The Family Stone

Musicians: Cece Winans, Post Malone, Rodrigo y Gabriela and Luke Combs

Destination: Annual family trip to Disneyland and San Jose Los Cabo Mexico

Q: What do you like to do outside of work?

Off road trail riding on an ATV, golfing, boating, hiking with my fur babies, kayaking and my all-time favorite is doing any of these with my family.

Q: What kind of work does your company do in 340B and what makes it stand out?

One of the biggest challenges 340B leaders face today is time, specifically, not having enough of it. Between shifting manufacturer restrictions, mounting compliance requirements, and the day-to-day operational demands of running a hospital or health system, it’s easy to fall into reactive mode. We hear it all the time: “We’re just trying to keep up.”

That’s where The Craneware Group comes in.

We help covered entities move from firefighting to forward-thinking. Through our Trisus® platform and deep bench of 340B experts, we give hospitals the tools and guidance they need to run smarter, more sustainable programs. We don’t just help check the compliance box. We help our customers build stronger internal alignment, spot issues before they become risks, and uncover opportunities to stretch every dollar further.

What makes us different isn’t just our software. It’s our partnership model. We show up with empathy, we stay in the weeds with our customers, and we don’t stop until we’ve delivered value.

Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just about pharmacy or finance. It’s about making sure the people and communities who rely on 340B have access to care that’s consistent, affordable, and lasting. That’s the outcome we work toward every day.

Q: Why did you choose to work in the 340B space?

My passion lies in serving patients and communities, supporting those in need, and making a meaningful, positive impact. Throughout my years in pharmacy, I’ve continually encountered opportunities to learn and collaborate with dedicated professionals committed to helping others. I find great fulfillment in contributing value to my team and customers.

The 340B program, as a specialized area within pharmacy, perfectly aligns with my desire to make a difference in underserved populations and truly resonates with my professional purpose.

Q: What do you feel is your most significant contribution to the 340B world or to a 340B customer/client?

My overall contribution is being able to assist customers with staying compliant, optimizing their program and helping them stay proactive to the ever-changing 340B landscape.

Q: What advice do you have for a young professional who has recently launched a career in the 340B space?

The 340B industry is always evolving and my recommendation would be to have an appetite for learning, every single day. Be sure to get out of your comfort zone and learn how to bring value to those around you; if you see a need, fill the need. Keep asking questions, to truly understand what, who and why.
