Q: What kind of work does your organization do in 340B and what makes it stand out?

SUNRx is a 340B third-party administrator. We offer covered entities a full suite of products and services, including contract pharmacy, split billing, an uninsured patient discount card, referral capture, manufacturer restriction services, and a robust account management team. We also offer a pharmacy gateway solution to contract pharmacies.

What makes SUNRx stand out is our commitment to a diversity of CE types and sizes. The needs and wants of different CE types (FQHCs, Hospitals, Ryan White Grantees, Specialized Clinics) and sizes can vary. We understand their nuances and we have designed our platforms and service model to complement an array of program needs.

Q: Why did you choose to work in the 340B space?

After working in various health care industry sectors, I chose to work in 340B because of its mission. I am privileged to work in the 340B program with SUNRx to help safety net providers continue to serve uninsured and vulnerable patients.

Q: What do you feel is your most significant contribution to the 340B world or to a 340B customer/client?

SUNRx is committed to providing quality, high-touch customer care, and support. Our account management team partners with our clients to help effectively manage their 340B programs, provide in-depth training, and communicate program results and performance. We listen to our clients and work to optimize settings within the SUNRx platform to help support and maximize 340B program results.

Q: What advice do you have for a young professional who has recently launched a career in the 340B space?

Ask questions! There is always something new in the 340B world and much to learn. From a Covered Entity perspective, make sure you are always in communication with your 340B TPA to ensure both you and your TPA are aligned. Your TPA can be a great resource to you and your successful 340B program.
