Q: What do you like to do outside of work?

I really love good eating experiences – whether hosting a gathering with friends/family, or seeking out new places locally or while traveling, great food/drink is something that I enjoy.  I also enjoy running and cycling.  We’ve got four young kids at home, so my interests revolve around theirs, generally.

Q: What kind of work does your company do in 340B and what makes it stand out?

As consultative partners, we tailor our services to the specific needs of each customer – from full-service, integrated programs to individual solutions like pharmacy operations management, contract pharmacy administration, split billing or referral capture. We combine the most advanced, yet easy-to-use 340B technology with deep expertise and approachability to ensure each program optimizes 340B savings and compliance for our customers.

Q: Why did you choose to work in the 340B space?

I first learned about out the 340B program when I was working for a PBM, and started immersing myself in whatever information I could find about it.  As I learned more about the program, its complexities, and the critically important role it plays within the healthcare safety net, I knew it was an area that I wanted to focus on.

Q: What do you feel is your most significant contribution to the 340B world or to a 340B customer/client?

It is incredibly gratifying to be part of an organization with such a strong legacy and commitment to serving 340B providers and their patients. Being able to partner with Covered Entities and see first-hand how that partnership helps them better serve their patients is very rewarding.

Q: What advice do you have for a young professional who has recently launched a career in the 340B space?

Attend 340B University, pursue the Apexus Advanced 340B Operations Certificate program, surround yourself with knowledgeable people, and ask lots of questions!
