Ted Slafsky is Publisher & Chief Executive Officer of 340B Report. A longtime healthcare thought leader and journalist, he has more than three decades of experience in the 340B program and journalism, including founding and overseeing 340B Report since its launch in 2020. He regularly gives talks across the country about the 340B program and other prescription drug policy matters. Ted began his career as an award-winning journalist at U.S. News & World Report. He then served in senior leadership for 22 years at 340B Health, a Washington D.C.-based association representing more than 1600 hospitals and health systems participating in the 340B program. Ted served as 340B Health’s President & CEO for more than a decade. During his tenure, he co-founded and led the 340B Coalition, an umbrella group of national organizations representing 340B providers. Ted graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University with a political science degree and earned a Master of Public Policy from Duke University.

Will Newton is 340B Report's Editor-in-Chief. Based in Washington, D.C., Will leads 340B Report’s editorial coverage, with a particular focus on the 340B rebate debate, state legislative activity, federal courts and regulatory matters. He has written investigative pieces on dark money efforts to influence 340B policy, and has developed and launched multiple 340B program trackers and subscribers resources. Before joining 340B Report, Will was a senior healthcare reporter for Clinical Trials Arena/GlobalData, where he covered the pharmaceutical industry and was awarded a fellowship with the National Press Foundation for his coverage of rare disease drug development. Will earned his undergraduate degree in Economics at Williams College, where he worked as Managing Editor of the Williams Record.

Shannon Young is 340B Report's Managing Editor. Shannon leads 340B Report’s coverage of Capitol Hill and federal policy developments, including tracking 340B legislation and reporting on congressional hearings. She also covers court cases, business developments and industry trends. Prior to joining 340B Report, Shannon covered the healthcare industry for Morning Brew’s Healthcare Brew. She also led POLITICO New York's healthcare coverage in Albany, including former Gov. Andrew Cuomo's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath, and covered congressional and presidential campaigns for the Springfield Republican newspaper and MassLive.com. Shannon has more than a decade of experience reporting on federal and state government in Washington, D.C., Connecticut, Ohio, Massachusetts and New York for regional and national publications. She is a graduate of Boston University and is based in Massachusetts.

Luke Zarzecki is the National Correspondent for 340B Report. Luke covers various 340B policy developments both in Washington D.C., where he is based, and throughout the country, including congressional and state legislation and federal regulatory activity. Prior to joining 340B Report, Luke worked at Inside Health Policy covering the Food and Drug Administration, drug pricing and everything in between. He also worked as a local reporter covering the northern suburbs of Denver and won numerous awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Colorado Press Association. Luke is a graduate of the University of Vermont and currently a candidate for a Master of Public Health at the University of Pennsylvania.

Anna Mangum is the host of our 340B Leaders Upfront podcast which showcases 340B Report’s valued sponsors and the crucial role they play in the 340B ecosystem. Anna has served as a senior leader with a variety of major national health-related advocacy and trade organizations including 340B Health, where she worked closely with 340B Report Publisher and CEO Ted Slafsky for over a decade. She has dedicated her career to promoting healthcare access, quality and equity. Anna began her career at Common Cause and then served as a congressional aide covering health issues in the U.S. House of Representatives. She has subsequently held leadership posts with the American Hospital Association, the National Committee for Quality Assurance, the National Association of Social Workers and the University of Texas at Austin Health Behavior Research and Training Institute. She earned her Master’s in Public Health and Master’s in Social Work from the University of California at Berkeley and was a Fulbright Scholar in Sweden. She earned her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Virginia, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the political and social thought journal.
