Q: Where did you grow up?

I grew up in New Orleans as a young child and then in Brazil during most of my teens.

Q: Where did you go to college?

I went to Loyola University for undergrad and majored in business management/accounting;. Then I went on to Western Governors University in Utah for my masters in management and leadership.

Q: What are your favorites?

Food: Mexican

Movie: The Godfather Series

Musicians:  I couldn’t even pick one genre – suffice to say it’s a broad range, including R&B: Nelly Furtado, Rock :U2, 70s: ABBA

Destination:  Hawaii – the Big Island is my figurative second home

Q: What do you like to do outside of work?

Travel exploration, sharing my affinity for wine with those close to me, and outdoor activities – whether working in my yard or golfing!

Q: What kind of work does your company do in 340B and what makes it stand out?

We are a leading TPA supporting a variety of covered entity types to maximize the benefits of the 340B program. Our product is amazing, but our team further differentiates us with their passion for supporting our customers with the benefit of their 340B experience. I’m very proud of the service and support they bring to our customers every day.

Q: Why did you choose to work in the 340B space?

Some of my life experience has given me the chance to see how patient care is delivered up close and through that, I’ve discovered the passion people have for the work they do. When I discovered the direct impact of the program as a safety net in our communities, it struck me as deeply purposeful work.

Q: What do you feel is your most significant contribution to the 340B world or to a 340B customer?

I think the greatest impact is that of the team we’ve built. Every person on our team has a deep sense of the purpose of our work and an immeasurable commitment to helping our customers achieve their goals with the program. By no means are we perfect – we learn every day, but I’m proud to be their leader and to be associated with the great work they do each and every day.

Q: What advice do you have for a young professional who has recently launched a career in the 340B space?

I’d say that this is a great space for you if you are motivated by a spirit of ‘continuous learning’, purposeful work that provides meaning, and an ever-changing landscape of challenges! Approaching the work with curiosity and a steadfast intent to make a difference will ultimately help you find a rewarding career with meaning!
