Q: Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia.

Q: Where did you go to college/graduate school?

I completed my undergraduate studies at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia and attended graduate school at St. John’s University in Queens, New York.

Q: What are your favorites?

Food: I mostly enjoy fruits and vegetables, though I do appreciate a nice steak occasionally.

Q: What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy going to the movies, traveling, and working with relevant organizations to advance positive social causes.

Q: What kind of work does your company do in 340B and what makes it stand out?

Our company provides technology and process solutions for managing pharmacy administration. In the 340B program, our solutions offer a neutral 340B claims identification service to ensure the program’s integrity and sustainability.

Q: Why did you choose to work in the 340B space?

Our mission is to enhance management within the pharmacy supply chain. We believe that the 340B program is an essential component of healthcare delivery, and we are committed to adding value to ensure it fulfills its intended purpose.

Q: What do you feel is your most significant contribution to the 340B world or to a 340B customer/client?

Our most significant contribution lies in our dedication to providing a service model that efficiently identifies and resolves double dipping. This effort ensures the sustainability and fairness of the program for all stakeholders, especially covered entities.

Q: What advice do you have for a young professional who has recently launched a career in the 340B space?

Stay true to the program’s mission, and you will achieve the highest level of professional satisfaction.
