Q: What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work I spend most of my time with my fiancé and our two dogs. I stay pretty active through hobbies like basketball, jiu-jitsu, running, golf (although my game needs a lot of work) and any other adventures that the day brings.
Q: What kind of work does your company do in 340B and what makes it stand out?
Hudson Headwaters 340B is a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) that specializes in supporting FQHCs and Hospitals. Additionally, our services also include mock HRSA audits, referral capture, and other 340B consulting.
What sets us apart is the fact that we are a wholly owned subsidiary of Hudson Headwaters Health Network. This gives us an active firsthand experience in the ever-changing 340B landscape. We have used our knowledge and ongoing experience as part of a covered entity to support our clients and partners across the country for over 20 years!
Q: Why did you choose to work in the 340B space?
I have worked and enjoyed being in the public health space for my entire career. And like many people in 340B, I somehow fell into it. Since starting my work at Hudson Headwaters 340B, I’ve seen just how important it is to covered entities and the patients they serve. 340B is such an unsung hero in the healthcare ecosystem and I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of it.
Q: What do you feel is your most significant contribution to the 340B world or to a 340B customer/client?
I think my most significant contribution really comes from just being a part of such an amazing and impactful team. Every member of the Hudson Headwaters 340B team is dedicated to supporting our clients and it shows by how much everyone is willing to go above and beyond.
Q: What advice do you have for a young professional who has recently launched a career in the 340B space?
“Rinse and Repeat!”
There are so many nuances to 340B that it can be difficult to keep track of it all. It’s important to use all the resources available to you and to routinely go back to them to ensure you retain the knowledge. The best part about the 340B space is that there are many quality resources and experts that are willing to share their knowledge with you. So make sure you ask questions, and then ask them again.
